On Saturday July 2, 2016 at approximately 7:58 PM, the Sandwich Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of 4 Route 130 in Forestdale. Upon arrival, they discovered a single motor vehicle had gone off the road and crashed into a tree. The vehicle had been travelling north prior to the crash.
The vehicle had two occupants at the time of the crash. Both occupants were transported to South Shore Hospital with serious injuries. The full extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
The accident remains under investigation by the Sandwich Police Department. Mashpee Police and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department assisted with traffic and photographs.
