On August 21, 2015 at 9:00 Officer Bondarek was responding to a medical call. While in route, he observed a dump truck passing a bicyclist and observed the bicyclist crash. The truck was yielding for his emergency vehicle. Sandwich Fire Department responded and treated the bicyclist. The bicyclist was transported to the hospital with injuries. The Sandwich Police Department Accident Reconstruction Officer, William Patton, is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
