The Sandwich Police Department is comprised of a truly dedicated group of professional law enforcement officers and support staff. The department currently has an authorized strength of 35 sworn personnel, 10 Emergency Telecommunicators and 2 civilian employees.
Patrol Operations is the backbone of the Department and responds to numerous calls for service and is the first responder to 911 emergencies.
Training & Community Services oversees the Detective Unit, Community Service Officer, Court Liaison Officer and School Resource Officer. Professional Standards oversees internal investigations, audits, information technology and dispatch operations.
