On December 19, 2014 at approximately 11:30PM Sandwich Police officers Dan Perkins and Brian Fernandes responded to the Hess gas station at 336 Route 130 for a report of a man slumped over the wheel of his vehicle.  When the officers approached the vehicle they observed a syringe loaded with a brown liquid and spoon in the man’s lap.  The subject, later identified as Rene A. Dansereau age 28 of Marstons Mills MA, was arrested for unlawful possession of narcotics.

Subsequent searches of Dansereau’s vehicle and backpack revealed a large array of narcotics in amounts consistent with drug distribution.  The investigation also revealed scales and packaging materials consistent with narcotics distribution (see attached photo). $782 in cash was also seized.

The investigation resulted in the following charges against Dansereau:

Possession of class A (heroin)

Possession with intent to distribute class B ( 16 Methadone tablets)

Possession with intent to distribute class C ( 8.5 Clonopin tablets)

Possession with intent to distribute class D (5.7 oz. of Marijuana)

Possession of class B ( 2 Suboxone strips)

Possession of class B ( 1 Buprenorphine tablet)
